Picture Gallery – Big Sky, Montana

Featured below are some pictures taken during our week in Big Sky, Montana.  Some of the beautiful wildflowers are either unidentified or incorrectly identified.  Readers who can help put a name on them are encouraged to send us the information in the comments section, on this page or on the post for Big Sky. We hope you enjoy our visit as much as we did.

  1. Looks beautiful…so thankful all is going well with y’all on this wonderful adventure! Love you

    1. Good afternoon, Cammy,
We’re truly blessed to have this opportunity, and it’s going by too fast. Stay in touch and give my best to your kids and grands. Love y’all! Joe

    1. Donna,
I don’t think we’ll do 6/6, but 4/6 is a very distinct opportunity. We’ve looked forward to Glacier NP for a long time, and plan to make the most of it. Helen read up on four “must-do” hiking trails. Stay with us. We’re hangin’ in on your 30/30 and loving them. Joe

  2. Wonderful gallery, Joe! What’s the average summer temps there? Big Sky holds a meaning for me. Athletes at Sacramento State University, where I am currently teaching, compete in the Big Sky conference.

    1. Terri,
The average summer temp for July is 80 high and 42 low, which is close to what we experienced. June and August are a little lower. Perfect weather for Fall sports!
