2021 was an amazing year! Helen and I crisscrossed the country, took in amazing sights, spent time with our family, and made some great friends along the way. We’re so blessed and eternally grateful that we have the opportunity to experience the staggering beauty of our country one mile at a time. We share some of that journey in the gallery below. Thanks to all who traveled with us. Please join us again in the New Year–we leave on January 12.

Joe and Helen, consider yourselves blessed beyond measure. You have accomplished more in one year than most people do in a lifetime. Blessings for 2022 and more of the same!
Good morning, Suzane,
We count our blessings daily and remain eternally grateful for every one. We hit the road for San Diego on January 12. Please join us. Happy New Year to you and Malcolm. I’m gonna hop off to read your latest post, but thanks for stopping by! Stay warm down there! Joe
When I look back through those pictures, it’s hard to believe we were that fortunate. Nevertheless, we’re gearing up for another ride. So glad you’re planning to join us! Sending our best to you and Richard for a fabulous 2022! Joe
I was scrolling through and enjoying each one of your gorgeous photos…and then saw the photo of us! We loved meeting up with you two and are wishing that your journey would have brought you to Florida again this year so that we could enjoy an extended visit with you. (The invitation stands for when you make it back this direction!)
Your 2021 adventures were truly extraordinary. And you have the spectacular photos to prove it. Wishing you and Helen all the best of everything in this coming year. Happy New Year, and Happy Travels!
Good morning, Laurel,
Although our visit with you and Eric was short, we sincerely enjoyed meeting y’all. If we can get reservations, I plan to try to spend the winter months in Florida next year…but, Florida is a tough ticket for RVers. Hopefully, things will work out and we can share a plate of oysters together.
We were blessed with a fabulous journey in 2021 and looking to get out on the road next week. Have a great start to the New Year, and please stay in touch. Joe
I can’t really add more to what has already been said, Joe, other than I really enjoyed following your journey through your incredible photography! When you head out on January 12, beware of the west coast crazy weather. San Diego should be fine but you gotta get through a lot to get there. More snow for us in the Inland Northwest tonight, but at least it will be a warmer 35 degrees rather than a chilly 16-20 degrees! Safe travels and look forward to seeing your posts!
Good morning, Terri,
We look forward to getting on the road next week. We’re taking the southern route–heading south through Alabama to Biloxi before turning west. Hopefully, this route will keep us out of trouble. I was reading your post yesterday and jealous of all the snow in your part of the world, but, lo and behold, we received three inches of the white stuff last night. Amazing! After a show drought for most of the last decade, we’ve seen snow two years in a row. Please stay warm up there and please stay in touch! Joe
I hope you don’t mind that I shared your link to my post today! We all need to live vicariously through those whose photos take us on journeys we might not get to.
Your pictures are stunning. I love seeing how you capture the beauty of God’s creation! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks, Erika,
We live in an amazing country and we’re blessed to be able to wander through it. So glad you stopped by! Happy New Year! Joe

Happy New Year, Joe and Helen
What a wonderful year in photos.
I greatly look forward to following your upcoming travels.
See you there!
